This is Karl's 1970 Cortina mk2 series 2, 2 door which started life as a 1300 deluxe but now has a 1700 Crossflow, Vulcan built block, fully lightened and balanced with forged pistons, lightened and balanced flywheel, fast road/race cam shaft. The dizzy is a Lucas non vacuum side entry with electronic ignition set for the cam shaft and it also has twin 40 dcoe Webbers. The head I know little about except it was done by a company called Tonge Moor Engineering in Bolton . Basically it's a full race block with all the right parts inside.

It has full 1600e suspension and running gear except for Capri single leaf springs with 2" lowering blocks.

The interior is standard except for a pair of Recaro front seats.
